Want to diet? Need some help? We've got it. Before you start a diet you should know your weight and measurements. (Chest, waist and hips) and keep a record of these. You can then calculate your BMI using your height and weight. A healthy BMI is in the range 20-25.
How much weight should I aim to lose every week? Healthy rate to lose weight is about 2lb a week on average. However there will be weeks even when you've not cheated that you don't
lose any weight at all. This can be very disheartening (less so if you
did cheat because at least there is a reason) Your personal weight loss will vary. There will be weeks when you might not lose any weight, but you might lose inches. Don't get disheartened. If you give up and stuff yourself then you're making even more work for yourself. If you have a "must eat" moment then please grab an apple, some melon, or bananas - any fruit - and eat that. By picking a healthy item to scoff you're doing yourself less damage. We all need to eat more fruit and vegetables. America and France recommend 9 and 10 portions of fruit and vegetables every day.
