Drink plenty of water |
It will help you decide if you're really hungry or just
thirsty (We confuse hunger and thirst an awful lot apprently.) You'll
have better skin and be healthier.
Dehydration can also slow your metabolism. Mild dehydration can slow
it by 3%. How would you like a free and easy boost to the rate at
which your body uses calories? Have a glass of water! |

Vary your diet |
Don't eat the same things all the time - it'll make your food seem
boring and dull if you eat identically every week. A variety ensures
you get all nutrients too. |

Take more exercise |
Even a few extra steps can help so just walking up and down stairs
again will help at home. |

Treat yourself |
But not with food! Why not buy some nice beauty care products -
Its hard to eat when you're in the bath or shower and almost impossible
with a face mask on! |

Be adventurous with food |
Aim to try a new food every week - something you've not tasted before.
This will give your tastebuds a treat - try different colour fruits
and vegetables. They're lower in calories and better for you than
processed foods. |

Brush your teeth |
You'll not eat things with nice clean teeth - its great to have
nice sparkly teeth too.
The distraction of brushing your teeth is good to take your mind off
food. Try brushing your teeth using the brush in the other hand to
normal. |

Find new cooking methods |
Don't fry - grill, roast, or stir-fry! Learn new kitchen skills
to make food more intersting and more healthy. |

Stop when you're full! |
This is from the Paul Mckenna book - see left - but its true - how
many people eat eveyrthing on their plate, force themselves to have
the full portion because they're allowed? |

Accept compliments |
People will love to tell you how good you look - so smile and say
thanks!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours! This is
a fabulous thing to remember - its written in one of the local shops
I visit and it always makes me smile just reading it. If you're happy
then people around you will be pleasanter. |

Think of your goals |
Remember why you're doing this diet - you want to be fit and well
and active and slimmer and wonderful and you just have to keep at
it! |
