| A friend found this tucked into a book - tyyped onto a sheet of a4. We looked it up and found it online in lots of places. It is quite a strict diet and I think I'd not manage to stick to it because I'd be hungry. You are supposed to stick to it very closely. I know someone who reckons he's lost a stone in a fortnight by having done this diet twice (once per week) and then eaten sensibly and cut out snacking the rest of the time, he reckons that for two people it costs around £9.00 for three days food. We're not convinced its a healthy way to diet. Remember it is only supposed to be for 3 days then you go back to eating normally.
The three day dietDrink 4 glasses of water or diet soda per day. You can add herbs, salt, pepper, lemon, vinegar, Worcestershire, soy sauce, mustard & ketchup to your foods. DAY 1 BREAKFAST Black Coffee or Tea w/1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal 1/2 Grapefruit or Juice 1 Toast with 1 Tbsp. Peanut Butter LUNCH 1/2 Cup of Tuna 1 Toast Black Coffee or Tea w/1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal DINNER 3 Oz. any lean meat or chicken 1 cup green beans 1 cup carrots 1 apple 1 cup regular vanilla ice cream DAY 2 BREAKFAST black coffee or tea w/1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal 1 Egg 1/2 Banana 1 Toast LUNCH 1 cup cottage cheese or tuna 8 regular saltine crackers DINNER 2 beef franks 1 cup broccoli or cabbage 1/2 cup carrots 1/2 banana 1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream DAY 3 BREAKFAST black coffee or tea w/1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal 5 regular saltine crackers 1 oz. cheddar cheese 1 apple LUNCH 1 boiled egg 1 toast black coffee or tea w/1-2 packets of Sweet & Low or Equal DINNER 1 cup tuna 1 cup carrots 1 cup cauliflower 1 cup melon 1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream
This diet works on chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and pepper to be used and no other seasonings. Where no quantity is given there are no restrictions only common sense. The diet can be used three days at a time. In three days you will lose 10lbs. After three days of dieting eat normally but remember not to overdo it. You can lose up to 40lbs in a month if you stick to this diet. Toast to be dry - no butter or margarine. Tuna, string beans, beetroot
can be frozen. Thoughts about this dietIt is low calories - under 1000 calories of food a day, but is reasonably
well balanced and encourages you to eat veg and drink water. |
