Read my personal review of this dieting book which will really change your
life. |
|
I haven't been hungry since I started this diet and there is no weighing,
measuring or special foods to eat.
Very easy to follow - you can eat ALL your favourite foods!
I personally recommend you buy this book.
It has changed the way I look at food and dieting! You will find it easier
than ever before to diet - and it won't seem like dieting as you're allowed
all the foods you like!

| Detox Diets
There are lots of detox diets out there at the moment. Several celebs
have books out about detoxing.
Detoxing in a traditional sense is about giving up everything for a
weekend and allowing your body chance to recover from the stresses and
strains of normal living. Its recommended you detox over a weekend or
when you're not working to allow you to relax and pamper yourself more.
Its best to plan carefully for this detoxing so you don't have to rush
out and buy more fruit half way through.
You may get headaches from the caffiene withdrawal.
| Friday: Don't eat meat, alcohol, smoke. Cut out caffiene, milk
and fizzy drinks. Have an early night. |
Saturday: Eat just fruit. One type at a time is recommended. So
perhaps start the day with melons (as much as you can eat without
feeling stuffed) then apples, then grapes maybe. The choice is up
to you. Drink plenty of water.
Relax. Treat yourself to face masks and a manicure |
| Sunday: Add mixed salads to yuur diet, again eating plenty of fruit
too. plenty of water and more pampering then an early night. |
| Monday: Eat lightly adding real food
to your diet. Try to eat more fruit and vegetables as part of your
everyday life. |
There are bound to be recommended recipes out there for you to follow
if you're keen. Try new vegetables like sprouting seeds. Some people
swear by juice drinks although you need a juicer to make them at home
you can buy pressed juices from the supermarket.
Hints and Tips on Detox
- Someone recently asked "Is salt and pepper allowed on a
detox diet?" Well the simple answer is it'll depend ... check
the plan you're following. I'd say avoid it though until you've
back onto a wide variety of foods - and eating normally again.
For items such as miso soup that'll be naturally salty so won't
need extra and will give you enough.
Once you start eating processed foods you will be taking in more
salt.
- Get plenty of rest when detoxing. You're taking in less calories
- Pamper yourself. This experience should be relaxing and enjoyable.
- If you have any medical questions about your own health issues
consult your doctor before starting this diet.
- Try new mixtures of fruits.
- Aim to try at least one new fruit and one new vegetable during
the weekend.
- Take some gentle non strenuous exercise (yoga, tai chi, or just
some stretches)
- Eat plenty of variety of fruit and vegetables
- Some people recommend body brushing and applying moisturiser
to your body and legs. This wil help you get smoother skin
- Eat slowly and enjoy your food.
- Make eating a calming relaxed experience.
