When we need help most is when the house is still full of hundreds of tasty things, boxes of chocolates bought for us by kind friends. All the good intentions in the world is for my diet to start January 1st, so why by the 9th January am I sat here wondering why I've not really started it. I've had two false starts, ok three, OK, its the 9th. That's at least nine days I've woken up thinking I'll eat less today. Why haven't I managed a full day on my diet yet? Well for Christmas I was given a hamper full of the most delicious food treats imaginable - this would have supplied all my christmas goodies that I needed *but* as I'd already got my treats in by the time it arrived it meant we were a bit stuffed to the gills with choccies and nice things. So by the start of January we've not eaten it all. This means I have a constant supply of treats available and I really love chocolate. I've also rediscovered my wok which isn't bad for my diet at all as chinese stir fry means I can eat loads of veggies and they're not really overcooked so full of vitamins still. However its the chocolate which gets me every time. I'm doing to listen to my Paul McKenna CD tonight (Or watch the show he's got on tonight) But here are a few tips to help you (and me) in the post Christmas Diet
